Just to let you ALL know that the new bike test has just been put back by 6 months, so anybody that has failed it, get yer ass out there and pass it now.
Dont ask me how i know i just do.
That’s a result for a friend of mine, she’s gearing up for the test but at least she’ll have a buffer if it goes wrong first time.
If she doesn’t believe me where shall I point her for that announcement?

11-09-08 New test disaster averted - motorcycle lobby wins U-turn.
Following two years of hard campaigning, the DSA have announced an eleventh-hour delay to the introduction of an extended practical test for new motorcycle riders.
i passed mine yesterday, rushed the whole process just so i could get a test asap, sigh of relief.

Funny, but the DSA argued that as the directive came in on 1 October they simply could not issue licenses after that date using the old test method as they would not be valid under EU law (there was a FAQ about it on their website but that has dissapeared and now any link relating to the new test sends you to a blank page)!

haha if they kept the original date I wouldn’t be riding today, would have said sod it ill wait till summer. Was told by my friend that it was in march. Did my CBT 3 weeks ago and did my DAS last weekend
