Yes, there it is; A little birdie told me that all the examiners received an e-mail this morning that the new test has been postponed for 6 months.
This will throw the tests booked for next month at the super centres in chaos.
Well Done The DSA! Another government ****-up, exactly as expected.
The introduction of the new test, flawed as it is, messed up! Excellent news… (rubs hands, Mr. Burns style…)

" Following a recent meeting between the Minister Jim Fitzpatrick, DSA officials and motorcycle interest groups, DSA has announced that the introduction of the new motorcycle test will be deferred by six months to Monday 30 March 2009. This deferment will allow DSA to deliver a wider range of locations to offer the new test."
Well I guess that means there is still time to upgrade my restricted license for a full one, the “easy way”. Six more months to try and master a U-turn on a 500cc sounds feasible to me :D:D:D

Its not at all surprising. the english goverment 'trying to change something that works isn’t going to work. something like this was never going to start when it said it would becuase there was always going to be problems with it, bits that dont actually work.
And anyway they are only trying to change it becasue they dont like us bikers
