My CBR 600 FS2 was written off a couple a months ago after a collision and now, with spring around the corner :w00t:, I’m out to buy a new bike - only problem is that I can’t decide which to go for…
Initially I had my heart set on a GSXR750 K6/K7 as I figured it would be a logical upgrade to my 600, but on the other hand I’m also quite keen on ZX6R’s and R6’s. I’ve been trying to work out a pros and cons list, but that didn’t really work out so now I’m turning to you guys and girls for advice - what would you buy, and why?
Price range should preferably be somewhere between £4000-£5000

I don’t think it’s a question you can ask other people - certainly not without anything to go on :rolleyes: like what you’ll use it for, what you want from the bike and more about your experience.
I was deciding between a K6 750 and a 2006 ZX10R, I just went with what excited me the most (the K6 in blue might still be available definitely in your budget if you want details?)
If you want the biggest smile on your face (until you get caught with the throttle open which unfortunately in this day and age could land you with a custodial sentence).

I managed to find an 09 unregistered one, with black wheels.
I could have gone for the 10 model, and got the wheels powder coated, but the forks are gold… i dunno… just dont get on with gold.
I rode someone’s R6 and loved it… so 2 opinions from me.
The only complaint is it felt every crack on the road surface and the bars were a bit twitchy.
the honda doesnt notice these things. When i test-rode the blade, i hit a deep pothole (felt that) but even then i need not have held my breath and shut my eyes (which i did) :D:D
