New 2013 Multistrada

Picked up my new bike a couple of weeks ago, haven’t had much chance to use it recently. The bike is extremely smooth engine-wise. I have a Street Triple R so i know about smooth engines. Felt a bit weird putting this in the Adventure Offroad section. lol

I am loving the LED lights. All together a great package!

one of them is on my dream list for sure

Jealous mode on; beaky looking thing isn’t it? Jealous mode off;

Nice bike dude!

I can hardly talk though eh? 990 ADV’s aren’t known for their looks!

Yeah, it was a bit of a dream bike purchase for me too. I thought “You only live once”. Looking forward to a trip down to the South of France this summer.

Hmmm shiney!!!

I know, I want to polish it more even though it doesn’t need it. I thought I would pull out the pictures as I don’t see it much as its hibernating.

Get out on it man !!!

Should see the state of mine !!!

Dont worry I will.

Have had to do my taxes and get a friends wedding photos (Wedding Book) ready so have been a little preoccupied. Which one do you have?

Last years S model but then I added the touring pack .

Last years model is a quality bit of kit too. I’ve read reviews that there isn’t much in it between the 2 bikes apart from maybe 2 up ridding in regards to the suspension. Im sure that could be sorted with a different rear spring.

Its got the Ohlins TTX rear shock , so the kit is sound. Just need a 13 year kid with a joystick to work out the suspension settings on the computer !

Is it a spanner job or do you change things on the onboard comp? Im kind of lucky that I dont have to fiddle with that stuff. You could always get Steve Jordan to set it up if its a spanner job.

Where do you buy your parts and bits from? I use Ducati Aylesbury as this is where I got the bike from? Is it just ebay and stuff like that for you?

Yeah the S is the full electric version , so all onboard control.

I also use Aylesbury for most of the service work till the warranty expires , then I will start to use Mike at MD Racing. Have used him in the past for another job on my 1198 and he knows the brand ( as well as many others ) well and his prices are good. He’s also a good bloke and you can learn at lot from the conversations you have with him.

Also he offers a collection service for a small charge if its not too far.

What bits are you after ?

Nice, I was there yesterday. Great showroom. I only left a little lighter in the wallet, phew!

Im trying hard not to spend too much at the moment but wouldn’t mind some R&G kit. I guess its all full priced kit from the dealers then.

for R&G protectors you don’t really need a Ducati store… buy them on eBay mate, it’s cheaper!!!

Anyway congratulations for your new ride!
I’m after one of those as well
