needles and pins.....

hi guys and girls, whileriding my new cbf600 i get pins and needles in both hands which is something i never used to get on my previous bike… any suggestions to help remedy this? cheers

this has ben covered sooo many times  try losening your gloves. sleeve cuffs slightly as they may be slowing your circulation as you bend your wrists.

if the brake/clutch levers aint lined up it can agrovate the situation

All of the above + the cause of your pins and needles might be due to vibration coming up through the bars which can be damped down by fitting heavier bar ends. although this tends to be a v-twin thing.

Try and take more of the pressure in your body/legs so you’re putting less pressure on your wrists.

Check out the many discussions on carpal tunnel syndrome.

The posture that sports bikes put you in around town at toodling speeds causes pressure to build up within the carpal tunnel, and the median nerve doesn’t like being squeezed, stretched, and starved. It doesn’t happen at higher speeds as the wind lifts the weight off your wrists.

So ride faster or get a cruiser.

thanks guys… speeding up it is then:D

If you’re shrugging your shoulders and/or listening to The Searchers, stop that too!
