need some help???

I love my CBR600F2 - but i want to change the rear end for something a bit better looking - i dont want a race one coz it doesn’t have a pillion seat and you have to cut it for the lights etc…

I want to know if a 600rr rear end/sub frame would fit(or something similer)?? rather then change the bike i want to get a nicer rear end - colour match it to the rest of the bike (i love the colour hence dont want to change) and have the only bike of its kind???

Any help/advice/companies you know of that offer rear ends would be appreciated!!!

I have a feeling M9perfomance may be able to help!!!

I had a CBR600FT 1996 and looked into this, you’ll need to chop the subframe and weld on a new one, you couldn’t use the sub frames from other bikes as theres no real way of mounting the fixings so new frame welded on is the best option. Then fit your new bodywork to that. Its alot of work and tbh if you need a pillion set your doubling the workload as the new subframe will have to cater for that as well. A single set is generally much easier because you just chop the sub frame down in size and shorten it. do you know a good welder? If so its not too bad but if you do chnage the design of the bike like a sub frame change you may hve to get it retested for road use as it is not as the manufacturer intended etc…

get a new bike is my advice

But on mine the subframe is bolted on - not welded?? Same as the 600FS and RR?

Would it still not be possible??

get a new bike mate…

you know you wana gixer 750

sod the rear end you will end up changing in spending cash…

and then geting a new bike.

feed that ich now!!

I suggest getting a turbo, running enough boost to either go over 200mph or blow the engine… whatever comes first.

Then tell the insurance company you hit a deer (after getting a buddy to hit your now paper weight of a bike with an ugly old truck, preferably with a dead deer attached to the bumper) and presto you can get a new bike and put the turbo on that and of course repeat.
