Need a part quick - rear brake lever for curvy SV650

So… I was being a bit of a tool on an empty roundabout today, and guess what happened that ended up with a snapped lever, and shiny zippers, and a scuff on my trousers, and the ball of the front brake lever becoming all shiny and flattened… oh and, of course, the bikini screen’s edge losing about 1mm of thickness?

So anyone have a spare lever I could buy off them?

Cheers!

lambda.

PS: oh and yes I will be taking it to have it looked at I have a feeling I’ve slightly unseated the wheel as the front brakes squeak a bit now at slow speeds when braking. Could just be the discs got warped as it fell on the lever?

Il have a dig in the shed tomorrow I might have one but no promises (earliest i can do it)

Thanks Daws that’d be great

Will the lever be the same as a GSR? Might be you could borrow mine while you wait for a new one but wemoto sell them cheap and if you call them, they will post next day delivery. I paid £15 plus delivery for mine

It’s the same part as on the GSF 650, GSXR 600-750, the GSX 750, and a few others. There’s a compatibility list here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Suzuki-SV650-SV650S-Rear-Brake-Lever-1999-to-2002-/330865606008?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item4d09207d78
Is that also the same as the GSR?

Thanks!

could be. it is the same motor. youcould temporarily drill into it and put a bolt in

Who’s ever used the rear brake on an SV?

I’ve used my SV rear brake a lot recently when commuting in the snow and ice :stuck_out_tongue:
