Something like a 5 litre jobby… Last time I got some bicycle cleaner from halfords but that wasn’t all that great to be honest…
Any recommendations? Surely Heni Gerike do something like that…

I’d be interested in this too - It’s getting to the point when cleaning the bike is more than just rinsing off the dust.
I’ve seen 5 litre bottles of Muc off in Infinity and HG has 5 litre tubs of their own gel cleaner or 1 litre bottles of S-doc gel cleaner but I don’t know how they compare. It’d be nice of I could just spray it on and hose it off for general cleaning off the grit & grime, the idea of plunging my hands into a bucket of cold water in January doesn’t appeal.
Also, is ACF-50 worth the money? I tend to spray a bit of WD-40 over the exposed metal after I clean the bike but I hear that ACF-50 is better suited to keeping rust at bay on a bike.

HG Gel cleaner is good.
ACF is of course great.
I thought most of the bigger halfords had a well stocked bike section . The one in hounslow does its handy when I get in a bike I do not have a filter or brake pads for and saves me needing to go anywhere .
Yeah the Hounslow Halfords is my local but they don’t have it in… Gonna pop down to HG on my lunch and get some of their gel cleaner… Thanks
A little research on t’internet suggests that the muc off cleaner can be pretty aggressive on plastic panels and can cause discolouration, especially if you leave it on for a bit too long.
Think I’ll head to HG tonight and get a tub of their gel cleaner and a can of ACF-50 - am I OK to use ACF-50 on the fork stanchions? I’m a bit dubious about putting anything like that near the fork seals.
ACF50 is fine for everything apart from tyres, brake discs and pads
