Had to pop into Grays town centre. If anyone knows the area, you don’t leave a bike unlocked there.
As it had started to rain, i decided to quickly stop and chain it to a lamp post. Thru the back wheel and frame. As i walk away i heard a scraping noise. I turned round quickly to see my bike rolling forward because i had hastily, but idioticly, not put the side stand down fully.
I think i was about to scream like a big girl!!!
Then all of a sudden it stopped falling…the chain had caught it at about 45 degrees.
I will now be VERY careful where and how i secure the bike.
PHEW!!!
Got to be the most stupid thing i have done yet. Nearly as stupid as me leaning my forehead on hot exhaust…
