So Last night I was looking out the window of our flat to see why so many blue lights were sat by the building.
Went down and started chatting to one of the traffic cops who was watching the accident team, he was telling me an uninsured unlicensed motorcyclist completely wiped out at 60mph ish on Balham high road. The chap had being doing a wheelie and lost control. He came off the bike and his bike carried on into a womans car.
Copper said that the chap would be lucky if he didnt lose his leg.
One of the big things that annoyed me was the fact that this chap was riding a brand new zx-6r and it was from Metropolis.
Can you buy a bike from a shop without providing a license? this seems a little crazy to me.
Yes, you can buy a bike without a licence. If he bought it on finance they may have asked for his licence as most finance companies insist on having a copy of it for their records… the person who bought the bike would have needed to provide a certificate of insurance so that the shop could tax the bike…
No need if you declare is as a track bike/ off road road only… No insurance, tax or dl needed then if I am not mistaken…
Most likely they will find the bike to be stolen too
