I just walked in on a conversation between one of my colleagues and our temp about the Da Vinci Code. The issue was with regards to the painting ‘The Last Supper’ which Da Vinci painted and the book claims has Maria Magdalena in it rather than one or the other of the disciples. My colleague was saying that nobody knew what the disciples looked like, if they and/or Jesus really existed etc, at which point the temp said that Da Vinci’s painting was clearly wrong as there was plenty of evidence in the roman photographs depicting 13 men. I nearly had a fit imaging the roman photographer, toga and everything.
Well, the Romans were clever people…but perhaps not that clever!
