My Xrays

My accident was about 6 months ago, still got a few ongoing probs with some of the bones, but thought i would share these with you lot!

Tibia & Fibula (lower Leg)

Femur (thigh)

Radius Ulna (forearm)

My whole right side was swallen up badly!

Strewth that looks bad, painfull ? :frowning:

only a lil bit  Then i regained consciousness and was swearing my head off at the people helping me

Man that is truly brutal.

How long till your back on 2 wheels ?

:stuck_out_tongue:

wow know exactly how that feels. Hope all is well now my bionic brother :stuck_out_tongue:

ouch looks painful, best keep you and scratcher away from airport metal detectors

Ouch:sick:

Damn. Can you say comminuted, boys and girls? I knew you could.

damn!

nice work fella. Good to see you are still with us after treating your body like a Christams cracker!

That looks painful, wishing you a speedy recovery !

be back with a bike as soon as the metal is out mate!

Airport metal detector thing is a hoax, well in the UK anyways lol I got bleeped in tunisia

I wouldnt leave for anything

and thanks ghost

Its funny how this happends after i met Smiled

how come you can’t ride with the metalwork mate? have you got short term temporary plates while the bone heals?

Mine aren’t coming out for donkeys years if ever i think. docs said no weight bearing the lot but i started cycling ages ago now and am really quite strong.

All the best with the rest of your recovery and the rest of your ops if you have any.

im not riding with the metal in as i know i will still ride stupid and dont want the metal to break or bend (its hard enough to keep it clean and polished :D)

they said the emtal should come out in 18 months or so, but im having problems in the arm still, and i want to start cycling soon!

cycling was a great way to ease myslef into excercise again…hurts like hell tho :frowning:

i’ve got 34 pieces of metal as a resut of the 7th oct last year in my arm, knee, foot and face and i’m racing this season and starting testing on sat. the metal won’t bend in a crash as its titaium and apparently i’m more likely to break my arm where the metal stops :hehe: Don’t let it affect your biking if you want to get back out there but indeed be careful.

all the best with physio. The harder you work and the more it hurts the quicker you get better.

i think i will start cycling tbh.

and i also want to wait till my 33bhp period is over, so thats november this year!

Ouch ! ! !

wish u a fast recovery

and hope no one goes through anything like that

Respect mate- that looks serious

Hope you make a full recovery, get back on, and enjoy the freedom again!

Geeze fella, what did you do collide with a tank?!?

That looks very painful but I’m glad to hear you’re recovering, won’t be long now before you’re back out on 2 wheels.

I still find it funny that repairing this sort of damage in the 21st century still seems a bit Victorian?

Grab a handful of screws, some bits of meccano and attach to top and bottom of arm/leg whatever’s broken, bit like fixing a wonky table leg, hardly state of the art in principle but I guess it’s still effective. :Whistling:

Damn, man…that is just brutal.
