Dont know about you but my motorcycle boot soles wear thin very very quickly and it doesnt seem to matter if you’ve got an expensive or a cheap pair - the upper looks pristine while you’re slowly poking through the bottom!
You could: Pay loadsa money and have them done properly and pray they dont put thick soles on that’ll cause you to adjust your gear and brake pedals
OR…
Go to any old cobblers, pay £2 quid for some off cuts of thin rubber (did this on Old Street today) and stick them on yourself. With what? well you could spend the £5 on epoxy resin and be left with more than you used or you could get yourself down to the nearest pound shop and buy a cycle tyre repair kit for £1 (that was obvious) and stick them on yourself. The glue in the kit is specifically designed to melt rubber on rubber so it should be good enough for the soles of your boots!!!
Sidi Black Rain Evos - been wearing them for just over a year, covered 17,000 miles+ and the right sole still has the SIDI sign written in yellow on it!!!
Weird - Afro’s Sidi wore out straight away!!!
cHUNKEY - I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT GRIP BUT THERE COMES A POINT WHEN THEY’RE TAKING THE PI$$!!!..AND i THINK 3500 MILE IS TAKING THE PI$$
They have the same life as those worn by Italian riders in Italy then ;)Except they’ve been used more often on the bikes ridden by our friends overseas.
Yeah, O.K. up to a point. Certainly better value for money, but the up to a point comes where hiking boots stop, just above the ankle at best. Not a lot of shin protection.
