My test tomorrow... (09/06/08)

Good luck, hope it goes well. Great day for it:)

Taking my test in a town called Telford where I live, about 170 miles north west of London. I’m not much of a ‘LONDON’ Biker really, but I will be soon

I was really looking forward to pulling a burnout on the CG125 in front of the examiner to demonstrate my excellent control of the motorcycle… but I suppose I’ll save that for another day :stuck_out_tongue:

I think I’ve got all my observations down okay, I’ve been thinking about them when driving aswell doing a sorta ‘what would I be doing if I was on a bike’ thing. I think it’s helped quite well cos I automagically try and do a lifesaver in the car now

… All I’ve gotta do is make sure I don’t mess it up today…

Thanks for the support everyone - I’ll let you all know how it goes as soon as I get home from it

GOOD LUCK MATE

good luck, you got the best weather for it

Good luck - make sure you let us know how you get on. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed

Best of luck, remember if the speed limit is 50 do 50.

Good luck Nick, sending you good vibes dude

Looking forward to meeting you down the Ace once you’ve made that move to London… think you win the Ginger Caption Comp, loved the ‘pocket billards’ one

Good luck, enjoy being excellent m8.

Hoo-fuggin-yah! I passed baby :w00t:

Got 2 minors, one for the safety question which I didn’t get all parts to (chain adjustment, didn’t think to mention wheel alignment on that one…) And positioning at one point, coming to a roundabout to make a left turn I moved out a bit to dodge a drain/ditch half way which I knew was there, but I suppose I could’ve stayed tighter to the kerb. Either way - 2 minors and a very enjoyable ride

Great weather for it as ya say - put me in a good mood and made riding even more enjoyable and relaxed (and a little sweaty too :stuck_out_tongue: ). Thanks everyone for the support and tips. I now need to work my ass off at work to get the money together for a bike, probably a GS500 if I can find one

Well done you :stuck_out_tongue:

Big Congrats x

congrats, great feeling.

Congratulations! Not sure about the safety though, I have been riding 3 years and I have never checked the wheel alignment, not sure that it can be done without proper equipment. I mean would try doing the tracking and balance on your car at home.

Any enough nitpicking at the DSA, congratulations!

Well done, but don’t relax too much - there sre some proper idoits on the road out there.

congrats mate and welcome to the world of the weird and wonderful

Congratulations, welcome to a whole new life on 2 wheels.

Congratulations fella, great feeling ain’t it?!?
