After much deliberation (an a healthy dose of heart ruling head) I have borrowed the cash to get a ZX6R to replace my good old Bandit.
It’s a little bit scruffy (having had a slow speed drop in its previous life) and has been stood for a while (hence my spending most of this weekend working on the carbs) but it seems to be running OK now so it’s off to essential rubber this week (after going there yesterday and MOTing the Bandit) to get it MOTd and taxed, then I’m good to go !

Although I’m not too chuffed so far with the components - the screws in the carb housings are soft as butter, I had to get an impact driver to most of them and the dremmel to a couple to cut a new slot in them :w00t:

Nah not me mate, I haven’t even been out and about on it yet (apart from a few trips around the block to make sure it’s all OK for MOT) prior to that it hasn’t been out for a couple of years.
ah ok then, i was curious when you posted because ive passed him on mine a couple of times. I got the exact same model in green and always have a giggle when we pass each other

Already joined it mate a while back (same username as here) , when I was toying with the idea of a Ninja or cbr600f - in fact it was an ad on there that caused my purchase

Lovely bikes i have had 2 in the past, lovely smooth power delivery and reasonably comfortable. I would definately recommend getting it along to B for a suspension set up, it will transform the ride and handling as they come set really soft from the factory.
