So after a lot of thinking I made the decision to swap my MT-09 for a gixxer. It’s obviously very different so I’m still getting used to but so far I think I made the right choice.

Still trying to get used to seeing a totally different bike when I take the cover off. Will take time but I’ll get there.
Only did 120 miles over the last 2 days, so far feels great. A bit uncomfortable at traffic lights but nothing to worry about. Some things are better than the MT-09 some are worse but that’s to be expected. Overall I think I made the right choice. At least I’m certain of it when I’m out on the roads, having fun on the gixxer

There’s no point in comparing. They apples and oranges. I remember loving the feeling of learning a new bike. It’s great.

Word of warning…
The 750 gixxer is one of the most stolen to order bikes. I learnt the hard way. They lifted my bike into a van in the middle of the day while I was sat 10 metres away watching it happen. All over in 5 seconds.
Chain and cover that bad boy. Always!!!
Oh yes I can vouch for that, Phantom 750 K7 lifted into the back of a van only metres away from a security lodge with the alarm blazing. Never to be seen again.

They are. The only difference is on the blue/white ones the brand name is not painted red.
