I have finally done it, I just brought my first bike it has to be the most stressful purchase EVER I went from loving and wanting every Jap 600 to even contemplating getting an R1, after 30mins I saw sense and decide if I wanted to live to see my next birthday the R1 would have to wait awhile.
So after missing out on two CBR 600’s, I went to a dealer and got my first LOVE a GIXXER K4 with only 1,500 miles on the clock
So thinking the stress was over I went to insure her OH THE F*%kin SHOCK I GOT, if the guy from Benntts was sitting in front of me when he read out the fully comp quote he would of got a slap for taking the piss, the quotes got better as i rang around.

I finished work at 3:30am this morning and plan to pick her up at about 10:30am all I need to do now is insure her and get some sleep (I don’t wanna sleep)

Last but not least I have to ride her from Oxford to home (3mins from the ACE) by myself, 50 miles

probably too late… but you could do worse than to give suzuki insurance a call too.

Nice one mate very smart. Unfortunately that insurance will be that way for a while until no claims and experience builds up. I did 1 year on my ZX6 at £1400 then the next one at £1100 then the next at £870 now this year finally come down to £580! Good luck fella!

Suzuki Insurance? They wanted £29,000 for my K5, lol… eBike did it for £500.

@ jay - they did my 750 for £300 and chucked in replacement leathers, free bike if mine was off the road for any reason, euro legal and breakdown 90 days, home start etc etc

i don’t think there was anything they didn’t give me infact.
