Also, MacDo’s is just around the corner from her house, didn’t want to go too far from home hehehe 
But yeah, I should have seen the yellow reminder thingy :S
Checked out the bike and to my layman mind it looks okay. Brakes work fine and disk doesn’t seem warped. Disklock took no damage either, which further suggests the disk is okay (because this is a cheap as hell disk lock, I also use a proper heavy chain).
To be honest, disc-locks aren’t worth anything, they don’t stop two guys lifting the bike into the back of a van or kids from dragging it away or putting the front wheel on a skateboard. They just cause accidents.
You should be immobilising the bike, i.e. chaining it to something immovable with a crop-resistant chain.
I do also use a crop-resistant chain I was just for protection at the petrol station or cash point really, but I use it at home in order to make a precious few seconds if someone does try to steal it.
Bet your always gonna remember this day everytime you get back to your bike to ride off…
