My first "big" bike!

Ok, so it’s a bit old - '99 Fazer… but it’s my first after 6 months on a CG 125. I pick it up tomorrow night and I can’t wait!

Very nice clean example.

Enjoy:cool:

Good choice of first bike - looks good, have fun and stay safe

Nice!
You will notice a hell of a difference after the 125 !

It’s gonna feel like a rocket ship after your CG125:D

Yep! Took it for a test yesterday afternoon and still have the biggest grin on my face… but I will show it a lot of respect.

Respect, yes that sounds like a good idea. Lovely looking bike congrats on your purchase.

Your bikes looks in awesome condition - enjoy!!!

I too picked a '99 Fazer for my first bike - although can’t ride it until I get my licence (hopefully this week!!). Seems a popular choice for newbies

Fazers a great first bike very little goes wrong with em. They are very forgiving at low speeds and they absolutely FLY in the high revs

i can rememeber when i first rode a bike with some poke, what a wicked feeling, thought it was gonna pull my arms off!

Welcome to propper biking, you take it easy now, god i sound like ya mother

Westie is a good contact for fazers if you need advice…

enjoy:D

Very nice, Looks well with the belly pan.

nice one, looks clean

Picked it up last night and went for a ride with a mate. Wow! What a change from the little old CG  So smooth and stable. Really easy to ride at slow speeds, making my commute to work this morning quite comfortable. Dunno if it was just me, but found the ride in this morning so easy… the traffic seemed to just make way for me and got in to work in no time at all.

Nice pair o’ Fazers there

Can’t go wrong with 'em

excellent bikes, still miss my fazer :frowning: nice looking bike mate mine was black too (obviously easier - not as much cleaning

Ive got a 2001 fazer, was the perfect first big bike for me, hope you feel the same… loads of fun, nippy enough  and agile, will be putting a grin on your face for a while yet… good choice!

Almost a week in now and I’m really enjoying the bike! Interestingly, I’ve found I’ve calmed down a bit commuting to work  I used to nip around on my CG trying to find a path through the traffic. Now I just cruise… it makes a big difference knowing the power is there if needed.
