when are the twin lights coming?
There not! it seems like something everyone does I dont want it to look like everyone elses
It looks much better. Nice one!

She’s coming along slowly
start putting some pennies aside for a new chain and sprockets…looks like your chain is at it’s fullest adjustment
Believe it or not, apparently that chain and sprocket has only done a little over 1000miles
The sprocket looks fine but the chain is really slack, as you can see its pretty stretched! I’m just waiting for it to need the last position before getting a new one, money is tight!
take a link or 2 out and it will last longer haha
Looking tasty. I think if it were mine I’d be looking at the rusty screws and nuts and be replacing them with bright and shiny, but that’s it
I did think about attempting to take a link out but I wasnt sure if it was possible. and I dont have a chain tool.
Also, as you can see from the first few pics I had some horrible anadoised engine bolts. I have slowly started to change the bolts.
New petrol cap bolts.
New carb bolts.
New engine bolts.
I have new bolts for the risers and the footpegs I just havent got round to doing them yet.
As for the axle nuts and engine bars I think I might just take them off and clean them.
And my Brake resivoir screws have just turned up
bike is lookin good mate should spray the rear red instead of it being black
A few people said that but it looked too much red on the rear when I saw another bandit the same, I didn’t like it. Gonna respray the front mudguard the original red, undertray, rear hugged and belly pan are gonna be black, need to change the indicators tho.
Looking good up to now, but if you can find a place like we’ve got down here (Southern Fasteners) and you can pick up all the stainless nuts and bolts you need. So if you get any where near Southend you could always pop in.
All the best John
Are they proper stainless?
Or are they cheap crappy pro bolt type ones?
And would they do all of them? Mounting bolts etc too?
Ah those pics bring back memories.
My first bike after my DAS in '97 was a new red Bandit 600 just like yours. Loved it.
You never forget your first bike.
Looking good dude, and nice job on the downpipes!
