Multitech visor buzz

Hi all,

My Shoei Multitech has developed a very odd buzzing sound when I turn my head right to do a shoulder check. It only seems to happen at speeds over 40mph, and only when turning my head right or looking down at my dials.

It’s only started today, and I’ve not dropped or bashed the lid at all.

Any ideas / advice would be muchly appreciated!

Had a similar sort of thing on my Arai. Mine turned out to be a tiny stone /piece of dirt in one of the vents. Would never have thought it could’ve caused a noise like it did but there ya go.
Good excuse to give the lid a winter clean anyway!

Also check the visor adjustments/mechanisms. My old Raid had the same visor and one of the plates on the side started rattling after one of the polastic screws worked itself loose…

hello mate, i gotta say both digger and johnse1 are right, if you give your lid a proper clean the loose item will be found either in one of your vents, or your visor has come loose on that side. i lost a screw on my arai ant it turned up in the chin vent.

Thanks all - I’ve had a good dig through the vents and can’t find anything, and all of the screws seem tight so far.

If I can’t find the problem tonight, I’ll take it back into Infinity and get them to check it - I only bought it a few weeks back at the NEC show. I’ve probably only done a couple of hundred miles in it.
