multibike insurace

Anyone want to recommend me a good company, someone you use maybe, if you have more then one bike to insure?

I’ve got a couple of quotes on comparison websites just for a general idea, but they are no good if you want to insure more then one bike. You have to go back to the old method of ringing round each company, which is a pain.

I am using ebike for 2 bikes, seemed reasonable, but updates can only be done online.

I’m with CIA and they have been quite good, allowing me two work addresses as place of work as I work across two sites. Generally they have been quite flexible. They answer phones quickly and seem to be quite accomodating…

Of course the true nature of insurance companies only becomes clear when you need to make a claim and luckily I haven’t yet!

How true…I use eBike (to cover two bikes)and they have been pretty shocking dealing with claims. But, it is also true that you get what you pay for and they only cost me £130 for a year, so no complaints really…

worked out cheaper to take out two polices with different companies using my NCB on the bigger bike and 0 NCB on the other. zx9 and cbf 600. hardly surprising at 21!

I’m with CIA and I made a non fault claim and they were happy to help. They just forwarded me to company who deals with repairs and claims.

Ive been with MCE for a couple of years now, they more or less gave me everything I wanted and said how much you want to pay  this was I think cos they want a big chunk of market share so are doing stupid offers at the moment…

My premium went from £226 with bikesure to £89 for two bikes… One being my NC30 and the other being a CCM404, I asked how much more it would be to swap one of the bikes for a RSV Mille they said admin charge of £25 :stuck_out_tongue:

Im 28 with 8 years no claims been riding since I was 17… I know this makes a difference but sometimes you just need to find the company that is pushing for market share and that is where the deals are, a few friends have been lucky with MCE oh they also gave me RAC breakdown lol…

U need to phone around for insurance to get the best deal I think.

So long as you have no claims then I reckon you’ll get a good deal. Just don’t get your bike stolen else you’ll be screwed!

PS. Nice NC30 Rocket!

Actually it has been cheaper and much easier for me as I tend to change bikes alot to have 3 seperate policys , all with there own no claims. Superduke get the one with 10 years . The fireblade get the policy with 6 years and the XS650 is on a classic policy with 3 years . I am 36 yo and if you add em all up you get a rough total of abut £500 quid which aint bad for three bikes that have zero alarms or security in London but are kept in a garage .
