What a night mare i sold my place and moved out and was supose to move into new place a week later, and guess what they found a bankrupcy at the top of the chain. I hate solicitors and estate agents as theyve cost me loads, iv now been sleeping on my Bros sofa for the past 4 weeks pissed off is not the word

The responsibilty lies with the solicitors, not the estate agents. The estate agents job is to find you a buyer, which by all accounts it looks like they did.
It’s up to the solicitors to check the legalities of everything, that’s what they get paid for.

Gutted for ya mate - that’s just not good enough, would have thought Bankruptcy was a standard check for mortagages.
Don’t know whether you can get any money back from Solicitor - they’ll probably try an wriggle out of liability somehow - that’s what they do all the time.
Get some advice - try Motley Fool.co.uk - money website that’s quite useful.

Well good new at long last finally exchange and complete on the 10th this month, il be able to put the Stealth back into a new hanger !! And oh yes a bed for me

Well im now all moved in but not with out probs, i got the keys and turned up and the lady was just starting to move out. So we had to sit on tail lift for an hour but at least the Stealth is back in side and id forgotton how good a bed is, my try and find a women now
