Hi all does anyone ride mountain bikes off road I am getting back into it.
Does anyone wanna join me to shift a few pounds of xmas turkey and boooze
been thinking of doing the same thing.

got a bike a year ago but not used it yet, ride up to the midlands and we’ll go somewhere

As for offroad, no way! i only ride streets and the occasional blast round the lake. Ive got an engine for anything else(when i go out on it

lol I’m finding it hard enough to pay for the motorbike parts let alone by a push bike
Hey I used to trials ride but when I dislocated my knee I put loads of the fatty stuff on so I have never been able to get back in shape but I have to do it now I need to shed 2-3 stone in weight if not more prob 3 1/2
Used to go wendover woods 4 hrs every sunday. All kinds of terrain up there.
But that was over a year ago before I started working 24/7, did karate 3 times a week as well, was fit as a butchers dog.
Loads of places to go round this way but can’t imagine you would travel this far.
Trials bikes and knees, thats how i did my knee ,cruciate ligament, couple of years ago in denham woods, mmm think i’ll stick to the road !!!

thats the same as me, my knee has never been the same I did it on my first motor bike on the first day i got it I fliped it 
O the pain that really hurt
i used to go mountain biking around leith hill, its the highst hill in southern england and it used to kill me back then, only time my mtb comes out know is to cycle from my house up to hampton court / kingston and stop in every pub on the way!!!
