Motorcycle training in SW London

Hey all,

I have been riding a Honda CBR125 for the last 8 months after completing my CBT in July.

I am now at the point of wanting to upgrade to a big bike.

I have spent some time looking around, but can’t find anywhere offering decent reviews of schools in my area. I live in Clapham and am looking for a good school where I can do my direct access over the course of a couple of weekends.

If anyone has any experience of schools in my area, I’d love to hear about them and get some recomendations.

One other thing, after I pass, my current shortlist is the following:
Yamaha R6,
Honda CBR 600F
Suzuki GSXR600

Any pointers on these as a first bike will be greatly received as well

I can totally recommend Arena Rider Training in Mitcham. I did a gear conversion course there a couple of weeks ago, following a recommendation by another LB member who’d done her DAS with them.

They’re in 117-119 London Road (throw the postcode CR4 2JA in www.streetmap.co.uk for location) next to the Dreams bed showroom. Their phone number is 0800-0199 484.

Ahh, fantastic. I bought my bike from Mitcham, so know it well!!

i did my direct acsess with a place called “off the kerb”. it’s one man band setup so you get one to one tuition at really good rates. they have a small website
