I have a few friends from Australia looking to hire motorcycles in Italy. Has anyone done something similar before or would one have to buy and then sell 2nd hand?
I’ve not done it myself but I know several who have. It seems a pretty normal thing to do (though they were all EU citizens, but I doubt that’s too problematic).
Are they after some specific sorts of bikes or something?
I’ll double check but imagine sports touring like a CBR600F (or similar).
I looked in to it a few years ago and a couple of the places wanted a £5k deposit!
I’d been looking into it but the daily mileage allowance and the excess charges made if too expensive. Would of been better off buying a decent secondhand bike and selling it when I got back
