Does anyone know if it is possible to park at Wembley Stadium for a major event? Brent allows bikes to use residents bays ordinarily but these bays are suspended and need a special ‘events day’ pass. So presumably bikes without a pass would be ticketed. There is nothing on the Wembley Stadium site about bikes. There was a thread about this a few months ago but that was before any major evenst had taken place. Does anyone have any recent experience?
I live in Wembley, there’s no motorcycle parking bays around Wembley, it’s £8 for cars in Wembley. £5 in one of the private places around the popin estate, on the one-way behind Wembleys stadium (off South Way). Probably would take bikes for £5 or £4. An event day pass won’t go on a bike as it wound be stolen. It’s worth ringing brent council on 0208 937 5445. Park at the ace if all else fails.![]()
Brent allow Free Motorcycle parking in Residents Parking areas, I am not sure if these operate during events as they have pretty severe restrictions then
As suggested park at the Ace and walk the rest, thats what I did last time I was there
This has been asked before! Brent Council have a heap of stuff on this subject and I seem to remember Brent allows bikes in res bays on event days!
park under the bridge leading to the stadium. But I think hooligans might damage it if there is a riot.
There was a designated parking area for bikes when JZ and I went a couple of weeks ago, but I think you have to pay … ![]()
£5 for a bike in the official car park last week.
Thanks. That sounds OK - Could you just turn up or did you need to book and whihc car park did you use?
Thanks for those replies. I also used the council’s on-line enquiry system and after a few days got the reply that that bikes are permitted to park on event days in resident’s bays and pay & display.
I have reproduced it below with ref no so that anyone ticketed can use it as a defence.

Dear Customer
Thank you for your enquiry.
On event days you are permitted to park in pay and display bays and
residential parking bays free of charge. You must make sure that your
bike is in the actual bay. I have also been advised that you can park
on streets and roads around Wembley that do not have bays. Please
ensure that you park legally and not on yellow or red lines.
I hope this helps.
Kind regards,
A Shamji.
