Allow you to make changes and view the result.(Don’t know which bike to buy, try all 3 or 4 and see which comes up best deal. Moving house? Worth spending to fit a rip off Thatcham alarm? Etc.)
Will that non standard part cost insurance money?
and so on.
All pretty normal stuff that thinking persons might take into account before buying.
Oh. And a quoted premium is the actual (or close to) the premium I eventualy pay. I’m hacked with getting very good quotes on the front page but being asked for much more by the time I’ve done the real form.
