Motorbike Delivery/Removal/Van in London

Hello all!

I recently had my bike stolen, but the police found it a day later. See the stolen bikes Green Street Triple thread for all the details.

Anyway, today I’m off to pick it up from Charlton Police Compound. But they haven’t been able to tell me if it will be ridable or whether I’ll need a van to cart it away on. They said ‘the wheels roll’ which isn’t very useful. I also don’t know how the theieves managed to start it multiple time, presumably they had a method, but I’m no thief so I don’t know if I’ll be able to replicate it!

So can anyone recommend me someone who will be able to move the bike that I can pay for? The only people I can think of are the RAC, but I don’t know if they do this kind of specific thing.

Surprised no body commented on this…

Obviously posted at a bad time,

Try Rapid bike recovery… Hes the only one I can think of (Business wise).

Otherwise Im sure a few LBers have trailers…

sorry i replied in the other thread but did not see this one.

my dad has a van and im sure he would be happy to pick it up for you.

just back from picking a bike up for a lad in Hastings at 1:30 am =0 so hes kinda pooped but a biker in need we are always willing to try and help.

Daws go to the stolen green speed triple, everyone made comment about collection there.

But I think so Far no one has suggested Rapid Bike.

Enjoy this sunny Sunday

Kind of sad really as i give discount to LB members and at a fair price. Thought i had a good rep here :frowning: anyway yes i am available yes i have been to Charlton pound before.
Yes i can do the job my no is 07719817493
Regards Steve

Maybe you aint putting yourself about enough … I have never heard of you and I have been here a while .

I have to (Partially) agree with this,

I only know of you Steve as I’ve heard about you from friends that know you etc… I don’t think I recall much LB action…

Hi Guys
If i have no comment to make on a post then i don’t post lol. But yes i get the point your making and i will be posting up pix of a bike i have built from the ground up and completely
resprayed from scratch including plastic welding. So maybe that will change things around as will the 10.000 cards that will be going around London.
Cheers Steve

I can recommend Steve at Rapid Bike Recovery, good service, helped me get my track bike back to my garage and as he was doing another job anyway he done it for no charge but instead asked that I donate some money to my London to Brighton bike ride for British Heart Foundation

lve used this one http://transbike.co.uk/ to transport my bike
