I am planning to go to the MotoGP in June but this is my 1st time so I wonder if any of you can tell me a few things about it.
I planning to bike there but if I can’t for any reasons, doesn’t anyone know how I can get there with public transport? I looked up online and saw Magabus operated for the 2009 F1 from London to sliverstone but I couldn’t find any info for the 2010 MotorGP, please kindly to advise how I can get there.
Also, doesn’t anyone been to the MotoGP before and able to tell me what is the different between lively and family/quieter campsite?
It looks like there’s no direct rail link to anywhere that close to Silverstone, you’d have to get a train from London to Milton Keynes and the bus/taxi to the campsite, so bike it is!!! as far as I’m aware Silverstone doesn’t offer any camping but Whittlebury Park will cater for you needs http://whittlebury.com/index.php?pag=cms&id=298&p=moto-gp.html
Thanks Ricky. I would love to bike there but it is p***ing down with rain then I will have to use public transport cos I don’t really wanna rent a car just for that.
Yeah, Silverstone gonna have their own campsite this year within the circuit for the MotoGP and it is only £25 for the weekend.
