Remember that guy we met in Wales was a main distributor for Bridgestone even had the Desmodici tyres in for £270 a pop.
I think this is a very big mistake soon they will all have to ride the same bike Moto gp is about diffrent blends of racing and teams working to get the most out of their machines the pinicale of bike racing.
Plus just as a little thought mitchlin were the first company to launch a 2 compund tyre in which was developed in moto gp first! now they and all other tyre suppliers are not in the moto gp their will be no further development brigestone will not have to strive for perfection when they only compete with them selves.
BAD IDEA!
Actually I recently fitted a pair of BT016 (3 compond in from and 5 compond on the back wheel) and I am impress (even after having riden on 2 CT for the last 6000 miles)

Fred, completely pointless you running multi compound Tyres.
the tyre supplier thing is a bit lame, but it doesn’t bother me too much.
made me laugh that Pedrosa chucked his toys out of the pram to get Bridgestone for three races.
the thing that really bothers me about 2009 Moto GP is the loss of Eurosport and Julian, Toby and Randy.
Dorna and the Beeb have screwed us.

That’s one of the main reasons for doing it, to stop the rapid development and increase in corner speed…I’m in to minds about it, but at least it will stop the situation we had in a couple of rounds this year where there may as well have been to completley different classes running…

this is a reply from the BBC on the Eurosport forums in response to asking them to take on Toby, Julian and Randy in place of their dire team…

I would like to reassure you that the BBC has a long-term commitment to MotoGP. We have a contract with the rights holders until 2013 and believe that our cross-platform coverage is the biggest commitment yet to the sport, from a broadcaster that reaches a far bigger audience than any digital channel: coverage of the sport on BBC television regularly attracts audiences of over one million.
To clarify, currently MotoGP races are shown on a network BBC channel and are available for the next 7 days on iPlayer.
On the red button there is MotoGP Extra, plus MotoGP qualifying, and 125 and 250 races which are looped through Saturday, Sunday and Monday (along with the MotoGP races), providing a number of opportunities to catch the action. Additionally, all red button coverage is available at BBC Sport - Scores, Fixtures, News - Live Sport
We are working with the organisers to ensure that 2009 will have at least as much coverage as in 2008, if not more. We will release our plans as soon as they have been finalised.
We intend to retain our current expert MotoGP team: Suzi Perry presenting, Matt Roberts reporting, and Charlie Cox and Steve Parrish commentating. Audience appreciation figures for the coverage are exceptional - and close to the very top of the league of all programmes, shown on all channels. The overall audience response to our coverage is extremely positive although we will endeavour to keep improving it and make it more enjoyable for you.
In terms of F1, we believe that BBC coverage will be beneficial to MotoGP as having the best two-wheel and four-wheel motor sport series will give us great opportunities to cross-promote and cross-fertilize and help build both sports.
I hope this reassures you that the BBC is determined to keep getting the best out of this fantastic series, and that we will endeavour to do our very best to satisfy the demands of the sport’s ardent fans.
