Moto GP ..

good too see rossi make bags of excuses as to why he got spanked by stoner…!!!:w00t:.

so as long as i have a hole in my arse…i will always laugh at rossi getting beat!!!;).

smiled:).

Shame about James Toseland, eh? He must be quite nervous about keeping his job now - especially given Colin Edwards’s barnstorming run.

It’ll be interesting to see how the season pans out. I think Stoner might do it again this time round.

and the kwaka in the kitty litter, no change there:cool:

whats the deal with rossi and his clutch??? noticed he releases it slowly in the corners n as he was passing people pulling it in and out??

bloody hell…didnt notice that…brb…ima bout to do some intensive research on youtube;)

smiled:).

i noticed some strange clutch movement, i thought he was coasting at one stage

I was thinking the same thing… I seem to remember hearing somewhere that it was to do with the hydraulics but I cant remember 100%!" I’d be interested to know why he does it though!

Yeah, I noticed that too - it looked like he was feathering it through the corners… Would there be any reason for that?

stoner is a whinging ****@…

its early days…Rossi will prevail…he is 8 times champion after all, something stoner will never match;)

probably to pick his revs up without loading the tyres perhaps??

So they don’t wear out as quick, you mean? Makes sense… cheers!

I love your rossi tinted specs russ!

I think that we saw a very mature Valentino Rossi today. In years gone by I think he’d have chased harder and taken more risks, but today he played it safe, 20 points isnt as good as 25, but its miles better than nil points! Stoner looked rapid out there though, the ducati is just a stunning machine to watch and my hunch would have been that even if Rossi would have gotten near, we didnt really see the ducati get into its top gear. However, Losail is a random circuit, i dont think its a particularly accurate indicator of what is to come this season, I certainly think that Rossi will be up there with Stoner and that 7 seconds will be one of the longer splits between the two this season.

Well done to Nicky Hayden though, I really hope that he manages to gets fit and gets some decent time with his engineers on track to sort out his ride. I’ve got a soft spot for hayden, I think he is a cracking rider and i feel for him when he got done over by honda, so i hope that he sticks it back to them! After that monster crash in qualifying he did well today to get back on the bike and get some points!

Well done Colin Edwards too! The right way to go about sticking it to your team mate after a falling out… their whole tech3 debacle has been a mess and I’m not a big lover of airing your dirty laundry in public, but it seems that JT was being a whinging primadona in the whole saga and although he wants to come across like he did it all by the books and was fair, the fact that edwards wasnt aware was wrong…JT needs to put his money where his mouth is, he has the crew chief what more does he want?

other than that I thought it was a decent race… I’ve always loved GP racing and i’ve always defended it against WSBK, but I think dorma have just massacred it now and although i enjoy watching the moto GP, i certainly prefer WSBK, its just so much more exciting!

I’m well confused. Been away for the w/e set Virgin box to record Qatar. Watched the prog and the race was cancelled scoz of the rain and the season was gonna start in Japan. Now it looks like the race went ahead today and I have missed the bugger? WTF?

when he does it before corners. rossi use’s the clutch liek a slipper clutch, even tho his bike already has one, prob helps keep things stable and smooth, my even be a ‘habit’ he has from two stroke days or summmit?

You didn’t miss much Brigsy, what an anticlimax, formula 1 anyone:D

bbc iplayer brigsy;)

Cheers, had a look and it was the round up prog and eurosport should be playing it and its feckin football.

prob be online in next few days:D

Full replay on BBC2 at 00.20 tonight!

watched it on Eurosport, didn’t wanna give BBC the credit fo running it on the red button only.

Fantastic run by Stoner, that Desmo looks on good form this year, even the new guys had a good run on it
