I’ve been offered a ticket by a friend at work and she has asked if I can give her a lift up there… However I think we’ll end up on the train as I don’t like the idea of lending her my spare helmet if it wont fit properly, added to the fact its supposed to rain quite a bit and it’ll be my first proper journey with a pillion…

Does anyone know what station is best to go to? Friends who wereat Download went to Loughborough, but that was because of the organised shuttle busses for the festival - Do they do the same sort of thing for GP’s?

Any help or advice would be appreciated!

I’ve never been by public transport but I can tell you that Donington is right next door to East Midlands Airport. There may be a train station there.

I seem to recall that Donnington is spectacularly short of public transport options…I have a vague recollection of a friend of mine trying it one year ( I think he wanted to spend the weekend drunk…) I think he went to Derby and got a cab…not sure how much the cab would cost though…
