Motegi Japan MotoGP 2011 may be boycotted by some riders

Yamaha Factory Racing herewith confirms the attendance of its
riders Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies to compete for round 15 of
the 2011 MotoGP World Championship at Motegi in Japan on
2nd October. The Yamaha Factory Racing team will race in
Yamaha’s WGP50th Anniversary red and white livery for the
4th time this year at the home GP of team owner Yamaha
Motor Co., Ltd.

And that’s after last month Loranzo said he wasn’t going.

Have Stoner or Rossi made their minds up yet?

Well if they wanna keep there jobs they will do what their team says. If official independent reports say it’s safe to race then they have no excuse. It will be interesting to see what comments from the riders who said they will not go be in the time to come. Casey Stoner changed his tune from no to yes I believe.

yeah cant see that happening, george (jorge) aint got big enough balls.

whats the story for boycotting it anyway?

contamination from the power station things wasnt it?

George has been confirmed as going - i thought the same as you, too much money at stake to pull out.
