Yep, that old MOT chestnut. Got a LeoVinci can on my fireblade. It’s as quiet as the orignal (but a darn site lighter) but will it pass the MOT or does that depend on the tester? It has the following marking on the end of the can: SGI 6337 e13 0230. No BS stamp as such or “not for road use”.
as long as it doesnt say ‘not for road use’ you’ll be ok - my bike passed the MOT with an un-baffled Arrow can, as long as its not too loud should be fine, at the discretion of the tester really I think.

if it says ‘not for road use’ it will fail
if its insecure or got a hole in it it will fail
in the opinion of the tester, if it is more noisy than the original would be, it will fail
anything else should pass.
