wish I could say I was my happy self but Im not…got up, showered and got dressed…so far so good…quick coffee and down to unsecure the bike for a lovely early morning ride in to work.
Off comes the Cover to reveal and f**king flat back tyre !!!
No Nails, No Screws Nothing…just flat !!!
Ive just about had enough of it !! (air in at the garage and got me to work)
On a brighter note…great day at the Ace…Ive meet Mr Freebie (finally) steve, 666 (great blast home) , CFC, The Flatster (always on form) and the “sexy looking” Littlemissroadrage…NICE TAN !!!.. Can I see ya white bitz ???!!!
Oh and by the way Littlemiss…remind me of that tyre place you know please, these ones I got have to go !!!
mornin Barro, if it aint got anything in it, why does it go down? I used to have a Mondeo that the front tyres kept going down - even changed the tyres, in the end was told that alloy wheels can be porous think it wwas bit of bulls**t but sounded good enugh excuse
Morning Barro and Sorted, just having a good night beer and off to bed after a night shift, hard luck on the flat Barro, check theyve seated the valve properly.
My sympathies on the tyre, I know just the feeling, went out Friday night, Frith st, ended up taking someone back to Royston at quater passed one, off up to Cambridge for three, crashed for a few hours on a sofa, woke up, bit to eat and got on with fixing an engine and putting it into his bike, feeling all chuffed with the job, wash up ready to go, and… you guessed it flat tyre
three inch wood screw through the thing head first, Phoned Mick at Essential to make sure he had a replacement, done a temp fix (always keep a kit under the seat) and shot down, got it changed and straight off to Boxhill for the blat to Brighton.
expensive run that one, but then (and this is the kiss of death I know) I haven’t had a puncture in the last 60,000 miles, so can’t really complain.
I’m not doing much today, may strip the throttle bodies down lunchtime and fix the air leek and TP sensor but that shouldn’t take too long, probably go for a bimble after lunch some time, but no fixed destination, so open to suggestions?
