IMHO for the wonga and the time involved in upping the motor to 884cc, just get a 1200 Bandit lump off ebay and use the 750 engine to prop open the garage door ;)…Mmmmmmmm 7/11 Slabby Pie!!!
make you right mate…them 7/11 so yesterday. every terry spart and exile have got them, saying that I would just love to have a bike that ran, give me another 9yrs and It’ll be on the road :D[/quoteCome on Tug, you must be have nearly finished it by now
What Exile is forgetting to tell you is I have huge stocks of genuine parts new in their packets for slabsiders, mainly engine parts from main bearings to pistons including full on race parts so let me know what you need or want and if you have the cash maybe we can sort something out.
Never understood why everyone insists on going the B12 route. When it comes down to it it may be a more powerful engine with the potential for some serious tuning but it is a big slow revving engine compared to the 750. Especially when you realise you can carve over a kilo in weight off of the crank to make it rev even easier.
To go with the frame and engine there’s… watercooled tank, 636 subframe/seat unit, Busa forks, Buell S1 mudguard,OZ racing mag wheels. PVM cast iron discs, 6 pot calipers, one off yokes, Busa shock n linkages, busa arm with 10" extentions. This will be rolling by next weekend, over xmas the motors gonna be sortid and i’ll build a new loom, every thing gonna get painted n polished during the sh%te months of Jan and Feb ready to be taxed n tested when the sun comes back out
The only thing thats debatable is when the sun comes out…
