We have little to no food in the flat. I’m certainly not going out in the cold to be a hunter gatherer.
Is it wrong to phone out and have someone risk their life riding to bring me a chicken bhuna? :hehe:
And if I go on the basis of “they take their life in their own hands so why not” … they ride over gingerly … and my dinner arrives cold … then wouldn’t it be a bit out of order to phone up and complain that it’s cold and I want them to bring me a fresh one?
I was going to say yes, that’s wrong. However, I’ve just got home after going food shopping and after having the car fishtail as I was going uphill, with cars either side and then giving up on parallel parking and parking in the ‘I can’t park my car’ spot at the end of the road i.e. you just drive straight into it, I’d say go for it.
I don’t think anybody was delivering this evening. Normally you can hear them zipping about but not a one all night. I wasn’t mean enough to try though.Hanna/Ang - did you try with any success?
Found a packet of pitta bread in the back of the cupboard (that was just in date). Had a couple toasted spread with laughing cow cheese triangles … classy ;)Hels - no pets (spare or otherwise) I’m afraid. The idea of a chicken run out on the communal balcony does sound like a good plan though!
They’ll do anything for a decent tip and the current conditions are safer than usual for them because there is less traffic. Have you ever been passed by a pizza delivery boy in traffic? Their risk assessment is a little on the liberal side.
