I think I was one of the 1st to come off when coming to the end of one of the lanes, over a mound and off I go :hehe: Came off a couple more times after that but no too many, only have one bruise on my hips and a scratch on my neck from a branch!! Had a wicked day though and can’t wait to do it again :w00t:
Morning all. I’m back on shift on Wednesday…start at 0700hrs. I’ll be using the car on the first day as I’ve got to carry all my kit into work. Depending on traffic I may use it for Thursday and Friday…gotta use the bike Saturday though as Dave needs the car to collect his kids. I think I’ll need a few layers on under the jacket that day!! :w00t:

Hit the brakes today san the rear cam out a tad, couldn’t work out why and then realised that I’d put my thick socks on and lost a lot of the feel for the back brake…SO SOCKS CAN BE DANGEROUS!!!
Lovely morning today. I was actually a tad warm with the lining in my jacket now in. Hmm, summer gloves will stay in use for a bit longer I think. Nice ride to work, but seeing the shocking standard of riding by some L platers is giving me the willies!
I thought so. A friend of ours bought his wife a one day hoonie on the green lanes up North. She loved it and was covered in mud at the end of the day!
Dave and I mentioned getting some trailies one day and doing it. What annoys me though is the amount of decent trailies we send to scrap at work. One day our boss will see the light and sell me a couple of em for a few quid! :w00t:
