For all who want to know, Mike MPerformance made a good point about Poppins staying open for us bikers and yet no one seems to want to go so why should these places stay open late to cater for us ? There were some good points made as some LBers were saying they wont be made to go anywhere they dont want to go, that its up to them what months or seasons they want to ride their bikes…
Some others had an opinion and it was getting interesting and then the MODS bluddy took it off, after myself and Oli asked that it wouldnt be, as Mike got a bit concerned and asked for it to be taken off !!! Instead of taking OUR point of view into account??? they went ahead and took it off anyway !!! FFS why dont u ask US if we want it taken off first??? This was a GOOD thread so that we could ALL have some valid points made that we could take away and use as feedback to apply to venues and the like for the future? Who knows, someone might come up with a place that could be run by bikers themselves…? Who knows what can happen as a result?..but no…dont get a bluddy chance for that do we? We are just treated like bluddy 5 yr olds being told off by their nannies !!!
Sod it…dont think i can be asked to post anymore on this bluddy site if everytime someone makes a near the knuckle remark it gets taken off !!! Anyone that knows me knows i say it as it is…thats how i am…im not vindictive and dont mean any harm to anyone and like it when people have an opinion that differs to mine, as it helps me to understand peoples views and then i can hopefully apply and change myself…and i HATE IT when things like this, get bluddy moderated !!!

Im sick of the way the moderators dont check with all concerned with the sort of posts that “may cause concern” etc !!! This has happened before with SO many of us…and each time not one of the MODS saw fit to look into the main crux of the thread, contact the originator etc etc…treat us like effing kids and im pissed off with it…from this being such a good weekend as well, Mike you dumb ass, i thought it was gonna be left on ??? You had a good thread going there…

Hey blade, calm it hun… suck on a chuppa chup! It was a good thread yes but it was going to be one of those perpetual opinionated never ending threads… almost to the point of pointlessness.
However, if Mike has come up with a plan as a result, then that is good? No?
Share the love people. Dont critisize people for their biking preferences (summer / winter etc…), embrace the fact they share an interest in bike in the first place.

From a good thread like that, you can see what we all think on this site, where we all come from sort of thing?..and then take it from there…Mikes idea that he is thinking of, again is good, if its what i think it is? and THAT could have derived from the same sort of imput or thoughts of us on the site?..dont u think? But when one of us posts a thread, that gets a bit racy, why cant the MODS check first with the originator or others that had posted, and then go into it a bit before straight away, same day removal??? That just makes me feel like a bluddy kid…anyway…whatever i can see this going on for ever as well now…

As already pointed out Mike asked for the thread to be removed himself. As he was the originator, it was his perogative to do that. It was not the mods who decided to do it, so having a go at them for something that has been clearly stated was not them is a bit odd don’t you think?
NO its not “odd”…its a bluddy good and valid point! If theres a good thread put out by whoever and its getting good reaction, the originator MAY think that its not going the way they wanted or meant it to, as they may have been a bit forthright in their first post?..so they may decide to take it off and start again…fine…BUT when the Mod is contacted to remove it, firstly they should go into the reasons as to why (not talking about offensive, abusive stuff here either as that goes without question) and then contact the people who answered in the manner they did, then get BACK to the originator and ask if they STILL want it removed, or indeed use their common sense and see that the thread is not as bad as the originator may THINK it is, and so let it stand…bit like a referee on deciding on a penalty?
Now i could take YOUR reply to me as being offensive and derogatory couldnt i?..but im a nice person …and wont do that!
