Just got outbid on a set of gilles rearsets on Ebay…in the dying seconds

please let me know. Also looking for an all black tank cover
as the paint is wearing thin on the right side of my tank where
i grip with my legs (not impressed…thin paint?) other than that
if i can,t get a cover i will have to stick some dots on.
Yeah, common occurance on eBay unfortunately! There’s a few people out there that make clear laminate coatings for the tank sides, but for the love of god, I can’t remember who they are. There’s something called Stomp Pads, which the Californian Superbike School sell, but they’re geared more towards racers, they’re like a bath grip pad your nan would have, clear but with knobbles to grip onto. I’m getting a pair soon.
Cheers jay, i’m going to have a look for them pads now. Do you know of other people that have suffered with the paint on the gixxer ? just seems so thin. I have even thought about respray, just so i can get the paint thickness up… any ideas on cost
Jays right, they are made by Stomp. I thought about getting them, but then a Baglux cover came up on ebay and went for that instead.
I think they are about £40 a set.
everyone always said to me the paint is think on Suzuki’s, and my tank was suffering a bit aswell. Shows up on black so its a bit annoying.
