Funnily enough I have the EXACT pair in my shed (x1 in my shed and x1 on the bike as a temp measure)
The quality of these is very poor!
Rights side was so much fiddling to get the throttle to work and the mirrors to remain in one position I gave up with the RH side one.
LH side has the other one but ive had to super glue the ball joint as it swings aboout whenever I touch the throttle
I’ve got these on the DRZ, and a mate has also bought off the seller for his Tiger. Neither of us have had any issues, but keep in mind they are not top end quality and if you need a mirror replaced you’ll need to buy the whole unit
I’ve got Rizoma Dynamics on my naked bike. Nice tinted glass, CNC’d alloy, but damn pricey! Don’t buy the tear-drop ones from Demon Tweeks (absolute cr*p)
Not Triumph ones, that’s for sure. Maybe Rizoma (don’t remember from the packing) but I got them for like 25ish quid. (one from one seller who had one left and same with other one). So glass is tinted and the quality of CNC is brilliant.

EDIT: don’t relay on someones word that something is low quality. I may not be nice to hear, but people are not only jelous that you have something but sometimes they are mad that you have that for split of the price. This is mirror guys, if you can see something behind you even if it goes bust i will buy another 3 pairs of EXACLY THE SAME QUALITY AS RIZOMA mirrors and be happy with them.
try looking on AJ suttons website to see what mirrors are available for your model ive used them before for parts good service and good rangle of parts available.
It is a mirror mount, but as it’s a Yamaha it’ll have a reverse thread so to use it you’ll either have to get a Yamaha specific RH mirror or an adaptor so you can use a normal mirror.
i can confirm this is NOT a mirror mount.
im guessing they use the same mold to make them for the naked or faired. i think it would have been if it was designed to be naked however this is a faired conversion and its filled it…
(with metal, not a cap)
Looks exactly the same as the one on my 2004 FZS1000, that’s faired, but the threaded mirror mount is still there under the plastic bung & the unfaired version of yours uses the master cylinder mirror mount too.
I doubt Yamaha make the MC themselves & just buy them in, I guess they may save a couple of bob by not having the mount point tapped for the faired bikes, but you’d have thought it would be more sensible from a logistics viewpoint to have as many common parts as possible?
