Hello my lovelies…

I today took stock of a Micron Carbon Race can for my CBR600 FS1…

When I went to fit it I removed my old Road Legal carbon can and thought I would be able to use the same link pipe etc etc! The end can is a smaller diameter fitting than the old link pipe. When I investigated on the Micron website I entered the model number and imagine my shock when it turns out the end can is for a Suzuki. What the hell I thought and tried to fit it anyway using the link pipe that cam with it, and what ho…great results.

What I want to know, is :- will it cause me any long (or indeed) short term problems???

Problems…None…

Micron (along with other Slip On manufacturers and other over the counter products) state that cans and accessories are for different makes becouse of the bore (diameter of marrying parts) thats all.

It will start to matter if you have a commander mapped for a particular can and bike but only slightly.(bhp loss or gain / fuel and air intake ratio,s)…different story if you were riding at GP speeds though where all performance set up makes a difference.
