I hope this clears things up :ermm:

was there today, they’ve got a lot of bike choice, but there is no-one to speak to, every member of staff in sales seems to be running around being busy, so you have to wait quite a long time to get someone’s attention… once I got some attention though, I felt like I only had a couple of minutes to discuss anything as the guy looked like he needed to rush off somewhere else…and that was in the afternoon of the weekday… quite disappointing service…

I’ve been in there a few times this year - I didnt get my bike from them, but the lad in the triumph area spent a good half hour talking to me about what i wanted to discuss…

In terms of servicing, I’d steer clear… I phoned up today about an accessory, which was a visor for my bike, that would require some drilling, i didnt have the drill so I asked whether they’d be able to fit it, a 15 min task… the fella told me they had the part, but I’d have to wait 3 weeks, YES 3 WEEKS to have a fly screen fitted to my bike  … i nearly laughed… he told me they are two mechanics down at the minute and are manic busy…

That in itself makes me think “rushed job” and that if you sent your pride and joy there, I’d want someone to take decent care of it and I don’t think they’d give it the time that the cost would warrant!

I think they’ve grown too big, too fast and don’t have the support structure nailed for the size of their business…

I’d agree with a poster in one of the previous threads that they’re pretty good for Direct Access (I did mine there), and that’s about it. When you’re that central and get to sell squillions of superbikes to city dicks and gajjilions of scooters to pissed-off tube rats, I guess you get complacent.

An aside on their Direct Access/CBT training. I was told they have to pay £35,000 a year to rent that school playground they use.
