Traffic officers from the Metropolitan Police are the latest to get in hot water for creating a Harlem Shake video.
It comes after Surrey Police released a version for Comic Relief, and follows several others by fire services and the armed forces. In a statement, the Met said:
“The MPS does not condone unprofessionalism in the workplace. We expect high standards from all our staff. Appropriate misconduct procedures have been taken regarding those involved and the matter is now closed.”
Are they going to be suspended ? GOOD!
Put real police on the road instead of almost-police force. The are as useful for the public as me in my new hi viz vest.
Come on live and let live
Sometimes you have to let out abit steam
And I never thought I would say this but I think
A least one might have been human

I don’t think that their behaviour will cause people to think that PCSO’s are idiots. I guess this ship is sealed long time ago.
Maybe they should look for “unprofessionalism in the workplace” when they are on the road… so at work, not when day “dancing”. I don’t agree with PCSO’s in general but on this occasion I believe this is not the most unprofessional thing which they did.
Damn people get the freakin stick out of your a$$es and chill. For once I thought the police did some good work and they get disciplined for it?
If you g on youtube and put Harlem Shake you get so many others doing the same, obviously the Dutch and the rest of the world have a different sense of humor than the Brits, enjoy
I don’t see how what they choose to do in their lunch break has anything to with us. They got up and went to work that day, which is more than can be said for some of us. Probably spent the morning listening to the darling British public telling them how useless they are, so I’m impressed they managed to raise a smile.
When did we lose our sense of humour? Frankly I think it’s disgusting that anyone resigned.
