Top Gear tested this a few episodes back and said it was Shat !
On the program think it was Hammond stood away from the car and you could see him with the eye but the night vision couldn’t see him !
Nice idea , needs a little more work ( a bit like their impact avoidance system that again failed when on trial two Mercs slammed into each other )

Nice idea, but who’s going to drive a car at 50mph looking at a small screen? It’s not natural. What they need is a proper HUD (heads up display) like on air-craft-fighters, so your natural view is suplimented with this vision.
Need a few decades more before that Jay!

The quality of the Mercs has been going downhill every yr. I’ve got a ML320…and its a piece of crap. Just little things bust up to annoy you like , headlight bulbs, sensor lights, plastics underneath the body cracking and this thing is supposed to go off-road…heaven forbid that
