Weaver and I would like to thank everyone for their company today and also for their generosity.Apologies for the wait at the Silver Ball - they knew we were coming but had not expected the full house of all those other people before we got there - it’s not usualy that busy at that time.
We had a lovely day and it was great to see “old” faces as Sam called them and new people too. Will let you know the total raised as soon as we know it but it should be over £400.
Anyone who didn’t come - Sam has some t-shirts if you want to buy one to support the charity - he might even let you have a 2008 one at a reduced rate!
A big thank you to everybody who came and those who donated too. It was a great day yesterday, the ride went well and we had a good time at clacton too.
Thanks to the USR’s for making it a safe and enjoyable ride. We have a few t-shirts leftover so come one people get your wallets out, the proceeds go to charity after all.
As for the t-shirts for next year, we are hoping for blue t-shirts (with a new logo )
The JustGiving page ( http://www.justgiving.com/memorialride2009/ ) will be running till March next year so if you couldnt make it and want to donate to Riders For Health then you still can.
