Hello there.
Anyone know of any bike meets/clubs in east London? I’m a lovely mid thirties lady who’s recently moved to the hackney area, but don’t have any local bike chums.
I’m bikeless at the moment (ninja or mortgage? It’s a tough choice!) but am missing it like mad.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Hello there, shame u dont have a bike yet…u are not far from me and a few other girlies on bikes…east london meets, im not that sure of…I either go to the A127 diner, or southend front, the ace, and there is the Borough Market meet every weds, theres boxhill, theres hainult, the tea hut oh loads !!! …apart from that, its getting on the rideouts posted every weekend on here, if u fancy a ride with other biking buddies, and if u dont know them, they are a good bunch so u wont feel alone…sooooooo u better get out there and look for a bike !!

Thanks for the messages. I only wish I could get a bike. After 13 years of all weather riding, giving it up has been difficult!
I’m not sure what ELAM is, but I prefer the sound of a club type thing so I’ll do a bit of research.
I’ll also keep an eye on the weekend rideout section.

Not sure what else happens out east, other than the tea hut at High Beech and the famous BCR (more acronyms!).Just as a suggestion it might be worth heading along to BM and getting to know some LB peeps and seeing if you can find someone to tag along with as pillion on an LB ride-out.
Get a bike and get on the BCR !
