Job Description:
Reporting to the Patrol Team Manager the Road SideTechnician will be responsible for providing a roadside service which delivershigh levels of Customer satisfaction. They will also be responsible for meetingthe required standards of performance which ensures that the overall businessoperates effectively and efficiently to ensure that the business iscompetitive.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide high levels of Customerservice whilst operating in a manner which supports/enhances the brand values,ensures Customer retention and delivery.
· Meet the required standards ofperformance by achieving the key measures used to manage the business in orderto provide a cost effective service.
· Promote retail sales which meetindividual targets and contribute to the business revenue streams.
· At all times work safely,ensuring the safety of self and members, to minimize the risk of accident orinjury.
· At all times behavior is inkeeping with the expected and defined to ensure that members are treatedprofessionally, courteously and with empathy which ensures a high reputation ismaintained.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience:
· Practical working experiencewithin the motor trade working with different types of light vehicles includingthe ability to use diagnostic equipment/procedures.
· A logical thinker with provenproblem solving skills
· The ability to operate andmaximize the use of all modern equipment including computerized equipment
· A flexible approach to meet theneeds of the business
· The ability to communicate professionallyand effectively with Customers in a face-to-face situation
· The ability to work underpressure and to see a job through to completion
· Needs to be able to workunsupervised and have the ability to take ownership of members problems andprovide a solution which is acceptable to the member.
Qualifications:
Level 2 motor vehicle repair / engineering qualificationfrom any of the below bodies or armed forces qualifications at the same levelCity & Guilds
· NVQ
· ATA accreditation
· If you do not hold the any of theabove qualifications, must have experience or knowledge to pass the telephoneassessment.
A full driving license is essential with B+Eentitlement (trailer)
