The building was not finished when he took that in 2011…
Glad it was not a foggy day also as it has another added danger of being so high up as we found out a few weeks ago.

yeah i too agree it looks unfinished
such a bad design!
I like it.
Doesnt matter how many hands he’s holding the camera with. 3 storey or the shard. fall and you’re pretty dead. Falling from the shard will hurt a bit though as you will bounce along the building :crying:
at least you’ll have time to think of something cool to scream in the last seconds before you hit the ground…
edit: double post
edit: triple post… got a bit carried away as the page took ages to load when I hit the post…
braver man than me ,but awesome pic all the same.
It doesn’t seem so tall on a foggy day when you can only see down 3 floors
You sometimes find that you’re above the fog at the top of the shard anyway, these were taken around a year ago when the spire was going on
“Jaime made me do it”
So when it’s foggy do you just down tools or are you flying on the instructions from the radio?
This is pretty cool. http://www.willpearson.co.uk/virtual-tour/shard-360-dusk/
Redrat is missing but you can pan around and zoom.
You seem to know alot about falling from height, whats it like!
